Maple Plain, Minnesota
Boarding
Jacqurei Oaks offers both stall board and pasture board.

Stall Board:

JO has a total of 56 stalls in 10x10 or 10x12 sizes.  Stalls feature sliding doors, iron grillwork fronts and clay floors with rubber mats.   Stalls are bedded with pine shavings and are cleaned daily.  Water buckets are dumped daily and scrubbed out regularly.

The stall buildings are insulated against the winter cold, but are also light and airy with windows and dutch doors to provide ventilation and keep the air fresh and clean.  Ceiling fans keep the horses comfortable during the summer heat.

Approximately 50 acres of rolling grassland are divided into seven large pastures where the horses are turned out each day.  Each pasture has its own large, heated water tank.  Mares and geldings are turned out on separate pastures.

Six dry lot paddocks are available for special needs horses or temporary convalescent care.

Pasture Board:

JO can accommodate 12 horses on pasture board, divided into two groups of six.  Each group has its own beautiful, five-acre grass pasture with plentiful grazing all season long.

They also receive a morning and evening feeding of grain, and during the late autumn and winter months, grazing is supplemented with high-quality, free-choice grass hay.

Pasture board horses have a large, south-facing shelter for protection during harsh weather.
