boarded at Jacqurei Oaks for more than 14 years, stabling 4 different
horses there. I have seen the growth of the stable from riding "indoors"
in [what is now] the main barn, to the fabulous facility it is today. I
can speak to the great care, prompt service, professional staff, great
trails and good training facilities; these are all so important. But the
thing I appreciate most are the people. Friendly, competent staff
attract friendly, appreciative boarders and Jacqurei Oaks has plenty of
both!! Thanks for taking such good care of me, my friends and my horses.

For my part, I trust one of my most treasured companions (Amelya, a ten-year-old Warmblood) to the knowledgeable, capable care of the owners and staff at J.O. The boarders are friendly and open to new people, the setting is close to the Luce Line and has all the facilities that one could ask for. I highly recommend it.

Five years ago, we arrived at JO with one horse, very little horse experience, and some worries. Many of the boarders were accomplished eventers and dressage riders - would they be friendly to beginners? Also, our horse, Jack, was a rather cranky former 4-H horse - could he find true happiness there?
We now have four horses at JO, and they are all flourishing under the consistent and excellent care the staff provides. The work ethic of the barn staff is unfailing, and each horse gets the same great care every single day, in all weather, year round. The other boarders are welcoming and friendly - it's just fun to be at the barn. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful - no drama, just people enjoying their horses.
As for Jack, he is a JO "success story." He is happy and healthy,and clearly likes his life at JO; I'd say he's 95% less cranky than he was five years ago. (That last five percent--well, that's just Jack!)

I have boarded at JO most of the last 20 years with 5 different horses. The owners and staff at JO have become very good personal friends, but they still treat me like a valued customer. What initially attracted me to JO was that you did not have to be "in a program." As an experienced amateur I am free to train my horses as I choose. Although I do take lessons, I'm not required to. The facilities are fantastic and the rates are quite reasonable relative to comparable barns. JO has been my home away from home for many years - I don't know what I'd do without them!

It's just too hard to pinpoint any one reason for why I love JO. My horse Dylan has received wonderful care; I love the friendly atmosphere and the homey feeling I get when I'm there - which is often. I especially like the back field and access to many beautiful trails which is hard to find in many places. JO is perfect for eventers who need a large area to train in with varied terrain and many different kinds of jumps. Being able to bring in your own trainer is great, too!

kids were involved in Pony Club as part of boarding at J.O. and they
learned a huge amount about horse care and ownership. Dear JO Staff: Thank you for being so wonderfully kind, patient, helpful and understanding during the whole Erbanski/Gunner transition! Your insight means the world to me, and I appreciate all the advice. This place is top notch, and I can't imagine being anywhere else.

am a new boarder at JO. I chose JO because of the wonderful
facilities, the knowledgeable staff and the friendly horse owners. I
moved my newly purchased horse to JO before I had even moved to
Minnesota. She showed up at JO thin, beat up and with an eye infection.
It broke my heart to have to leave her. Marie and her staff took
excellent care of "Ellie" and I received regular updates to put my mind
at ease. When I saw her again, four weeks later, she was happy, healthy

You are by far one of the most conscientious barn owners/managers I have had the pleasure of working with and it is evident on a daily basis that you really care about your establishment, the horses, boarders, workers and everyone else in between. Having worked and boarded at many facilities throughout the years, it has truly been one of my greater pleasures to be at JO these past few months. I have had my three horses at JO for three years and among the many
benefits are: - attentive care so you do not have to worry about your horses when you travel
- a consistent feed and turnout schedule for stress free horses: no kicking and banging is heard!
- barn is clean and well ventilated, great air quality inside
- you can bring in your own instructor for lessons or training
- many places to ride and many fun people to ride with, whether you trail ride, jump, do dressage, or do other types of riding or driving

Jacqurei Oaks is one of my favorite places to teach in the Twin Cities
area. The facilities are fabulous and the people there are great! With
two large outdoor arenas (one dressage and one jumping), a heated
indoor, and a beautiful cross country course, it is an instructor's
playground. Whatever the weather, my students are able to ride and I am
able to teach. Thanks to the excellent organizational skills of Marie
and Fiona, the lesson schedule is kept up to date and the arenas are
rarely crowded and never double booked. I enjoy teaching at JO and I know my students love riding there.
